What to Expect with the Refund Process.

Ravn Alaska will suspend scheduled air service to Unalaska/Dutch Harbor, Cold Bay, and Sand Point effective August 16, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this service disruption may cause and appreciate your understanding. Ravn Alaska remains committed to providing safe and reliable air service to our valued customers.

To prevent extended hold times and additional frustration, please review the information below:

With a renewed focus on existing destinations within Alaska, the determination was made to stop service to the above destinations.

This change comes as part of a broader initiative to optimize operations and ensure long-term sustainability and growth for the airline. By reallocating resources and capacity, Ravn Alaska/New Pacific Airlines aims to enhance service reliability and customer satisfaction across its core network.

This was not an easy decision, but it is a necessary step in our long-term strategy to strengthen the overall success of our airline and this shift allows us to concentrate on routes where we can make the most significant impact.

There will be no compensation beyond the ticket refunds provided.

Ticket Refunds for Future Travel

All ticket refunds for future travel will be processed automatically. There is no need for passengers to take any action to receive their refunds.

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the suspension date (August 16, 2024). The exact time frame may vary depending on your bank or payment method.

If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency or third-party website, please contact them directly for refund processing. They will coordinate with Ravn Alaska to ensure you receive your refund. Please note: third-party processing timeframes may vary from direct-booking processing listed above.

No, the system will not provide a notification however you will see refunds noted in your bank accounts/statements within 14 business days.

Voucher Refunds

Voucher refunds for ticket purchases that are not more than one year old will also be processed automatically.

Voucher refunds will be processed in the same time frame as ticket refunds, within 14 business days from August 16, 2024.

Vouchers that are not eligible for refund are below:

-Aleutian Resident Vouchers

-Birthday Vouchers

-Passenger inconvenience vouchers

-Non-cash vouchers
