The Ravn Alaska Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic is responsible for ensuring company equipment, facilities, and grounds are aesthetically pleasing and well maintained, which includes traveling to remote airport locations. The GSE Mechanic also performs preventative maintenance in addition to addressing unexpected issues that may arise, and will spend most of their time in an industrial shop environment or at a project site. The Ravn Alaska Airport Supervisor is responsible for the administration of safe, productive, and professional airport operations in their assigned location. The Airport Manager ensures their team has the equipment and materials necessary to operate safely, sometimes in extreme conditions, and must be able to work in all areas of their airport to support their team, ensure smooth operation, and to uphold customer relations, which will require them to work outdoors. The Ravn Alaska Internal Evaluation Auditor is responsible for providing effective audit and evaluation support in regards to the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP), which ensures that all Ramp Operations, Cargo Operations, Passenger Service Program, Flight Operations, and Maintenance and Inspection policies and procedures are conducted in accordance with Ravn Alaska manuals and the appropriate regulations. The Internal Evaluation Auditor reports to the Manager of Safety Assurance. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:Requirements:
SAFETY
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards in the work environment or when confronted with an unsafe situation;
• Ensuring that required audits are performed in a timely and efficiently manner to ensure all company procedures and policies are met;
• Conducting safety management functions, such as safety promotion and hazard identification;
• Promoting a positive Safety Culture with co-workers, following accident prevention procedures, and supporting the organization in compliance with Safety Management System (SMS).
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
• Completing all tasks with a high analytical view point, strong attention to detail while maintaining organization to effectively communicate with internal customers and team members;
• Identifying and communicating possible systemic issues and trends;
• Developing audit reports, identifying audit findings, defining severity of results, delivering corrective action with follow up procedures and inputting a final report into the IEP Database.

The successful candidate will have previous experience with auditing for a medium-sized company, preferably in aviation, and must have excellent organization and time management skills. Other qualifications include:
• Must possess high school diploma/GED, while a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is highly preferred;
• Must have at least one year of professional auditing experience or a minimum of two years of professional experience in the aviation industry, if a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study has not been earned;
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with senior management, other internal staff, and external professional contacts;
• Must have effective interpersonal skills when interacting with all levels of the organization;
• Must be diplomatic when pointing out deficiencies or deviations from regulations or company policies and procedures to other personnel;
• Must be able to deal with adversity and confrontations;
• Must be analytical, highly organized, and detail-oriented;
• Must be able to defend audit positions effectively to stakeholders;
• Must be available for extensive overnight travel while alone and working under minimal supervision as audits necessitate;
• Must have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Access, Excel;
• Must have excellent administrative skills and the ability to work with and sometimes lead audit teams;
• Must have strong working knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations in addition to company policies and procedures, and the ability to stay up-to-date regarding changes;
• Must have good math and reading skills;
• Must have strong research and problem solving skills;
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen;
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
